$100,000 Challenge: August 2023 Recap

Summary

Welcome back to what may be the final edition of the 2023 $100,000 challenge.. because you know what? We have pretty much hit our $100,000 goal in a matter of 4 months. As of last month, we had hit $96.3K in spend, so we only had $3.7K left to go.

This month, we continued our Bilt Rent Day tradition of earning 10K Bilt points for $1.6K in spending (see June update for details on this). And for the remaining 4 months in the year, I will continue to do this. Which will put my a little over $100K by the end of 2023.

If, for the rest of the year, I only continue with the Bilt plays, I won’t bother to make monthly update posts, since there would be nothing juicy about those. Going forward, I’ll only create update posts when I’ve pursued a new/interesting play worth talking about.

So with that, we (tentatively) wrap up the $100,000 challenge for the year! Maybe next year, we’ll try to level up to a $200,000 challenge!
